Re: Super small USB Bluetooth dongle: e-blue mini nova

      Greetings from Thailand,

From what I tested, the e-blue mini nova automatically works on Linux distro: Ubuntu 8.04 without any additional configuration. It successfully sends files to my phone (I right clicked on the bluetooth tray-icon > Send File...). I also remember that the billionton v2.0 + EDR bluetooth usb adapter worked too (on 7.10, didn't try on 8.04 yet - but I think that it should be the same),

But on Windows, the e-blue will only work with the WIDCOMM driver that came with its CD - doesn't work plug-and-play with the Microsoft Bluetooth Stack (but I prefer the WIDCOMM for many reasons - receiving multiple files, etc...). The billionton v2.0 + EDR bluetooth usb adapter will work with both the MS and BlueSoleil driver that came with its CD.

Best Sincere Regards!
Kasidit.

Anyone know if this can work with linux ?

I'm finding it real hard to find a usb bluetooth dongle that is confirmed to work in linux here in HK.
